Before Freedom Beards ever existed, I proudly served as an Aviation Ordnanceman in the U.S. Navy for 8 years. During my time in service, I completed multiple deployments, earned my Shellback card, and was honored to receive the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, along with numerous other awards and medals, recognizing my dedication and performance.

After leaving the military, I made a promise to myself: I would never shave again. I embraced the beard life fully, and what started as a personal commitment soon transformed into a passion for beard care.

I created this veteran-owned business because I wanted to share a product that goes beyond just beard care. It’s about pride, resilience, and the same level of dedication I carried with me throughout my military career. Just like in the Navy, I believe in putting quality and care into everything I do.
